India Reaffirms Strong Stance on Jammu and Kashmir, Calls for Pakistan to Vacate Illegally Occupied Territory

India has once again reiterated its firm position on the Jammu and Kashmir issue, urging Pakistan to vacate the Indian territory it continues to occupy illegally. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) made this strong statement on Tuesday, following Pakistan’s recent remarks on Kashmir.

India’s Response to Pakistan’s Kashmir Remarks

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal responded to media queries regarding Pakistan’s latest comments, emphasizing that Pakistan’s support for cross-border terrorism remains the "biggest roadblock" to peace and security in the region.

"The world knows that the real issue is Pakistan's active promotion and sponsorship of cross-border terrorism. In fact, this is the biggest roadblock to peace and security in the region. Instead of spreading lies, Pakistan should vacate Indian territory under its illegal and forcible occupation," Jaiswal stated.

Pakistan’s Allegations and India's Strong Rebuttal

Pakistan recently criticized India over the Kashmir issue, alleging that India was responsible for destabilizing Pakistan and committing "state-sanctioned oppression" in Jammu and Kashmir. The Pakistani Foreign Office even accused India of orchestrating acts of subversion and terrorism in foreign territories.

India, however, swiftly dismissed these claims as baseless. Jaiswal firmly countered Pakistan’s allegations, stating that the world recognizes where the true "epicenter of global terrorism" lies. He urged Pakistan to introspect rather than shift blame for its internal struggles.

"Pakistan should look inwards instead of pointing fingers and shifting the blame for its internal problems and failures onto others," Jaiswal added.

PM Modi’s Comments on India-Pakistan Relations

In a recent interview with American podcaster Lex Fridman, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reflected on India’s past efforts to improve relations with Pakistan. He recalled inviting then-Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif to his swearing-in ceremony as a goodwill gesture. However, Modi noted that despite multiple attempts at fostering peace, India was met with hostility and betrayal by its neighbor.

Pakistan's response to Modi’s remarks was swift, as its Foreign Office issued a statement rejecting his claims.

Ongoing Diplomatic Tensions

Tensions between India and Pakistan over Jammu and Kashmir remain high, with both nations frequently exchanging sharp remarks on the international stage. While India continues to push for Pakistan to stop its support for terrorism and vacate occupied territory, Pakistan remains firm on its counter-narrative.

The global community continues to monitor the situation, as peace and stability in South Asia depend on resolving these long-standing issues. However, India’s position remains clear—terrorism and territorial occupation cannot be ignored or justified, and Pakistan must take responsibility for its actions.

Conclusion

India’s firm stand on Jammu and Kashmir reflects its commitment to national security and regional stability. As Pakistan continues its rhetoric, India's response remains unwavering: peace can only be achieved when Pakistan ends cross-border terrorism and vacates illegally occupied Indian territory.

Shashi Tharoor Admits Misjudgment on India’s Neutral Stance in Russia-Ukraine War

Congress leader and Member of Parliament Shashi Tharoor has publicly acknowledged that he was mistaken in opposing India’s neutral stance on the Russia-Ukraine war when it first erupted in 2022. Speaking at the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi on Tuesday during a session titled ‘Waging Peace: Looking Back to Look Ahead’ , Tharoor candidly admitted that India’s diplomatic approach has, in hindsight, positioned the country as a potential peacemaker on the global stage. "An Egg on My Face" – Tharoor’s Honest Reflection "I am still wiping the egg off my face because I am one person in the parliamentary debate who actually criticized the Indian position at the time back in February 2022," Tharoor confessed. At the time, he had strongly condemned Russia’s military actions, advocating that India should denounce the aggression based on principles of the UN Charter, the sovereignty of Ukraine, and the inviolability of international borders . However, with three years of g...

Delhi High Court Denies Maintenance to Educated Wife: A Landmark Ruling

In a recent judgment, the Delhi High Court held that a well-educated woman, capable of earning a living, should not remain unemployed just to claim maintenance from her husband. The ruling came in response to a revision petition filed by a woman challenging a family court’s 2022 decision that denied her interim maintenance. The Court’s Stand on Maintenance Justice Chandra Dhari Singh stated that Section 125 of the CrPC aims to protect dependent spouses, children, and parents but does not encourage idleness. He asserted that women with professional qualifications and work experience should make efforts to become financially independent rather than relying on alimony. The court upheld the family court’s decision, noting that the petitioner had a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of Wollongong, Australia , which demonstrated her capability to earn. Furthermore, she had previously worked in Dubai as an Audit Associate at KPMG and later as an HR Manage...
